About Our Students
Student Profiles
At 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, you will be welcomed into a collaborative premedical education community in which postbac students help one another reach their full potential.
You will find that your fellow postbac students at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø are one of the strongest assets of our program. Coming from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, they form an interactive and supportive community that shares a common goal—becoming a physician.
In the process, many postbacs have formed close friendships that endure long after their time at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Peer Collaboration and Support
Once admitted to our program, enrolled students will be able to access an interactive site that provides a marketplace and housing options in the area, and connects classmates to find housing. In addition, a current postbac student will serves as a liaison to assist enrolled students with relocating to and getting ready for their studies at 91³Ô¹ÏÍø.
Our postbac students frequently take the initiative to pursue self-directed learning opportunities. Students collaborate to host Health Interest Programming (HIP), student-led events that explore a health issue or specialty area in-depth. HIP topics are intended to be multi-disciplinary, to reflect the interprofessional nature of health education today.
Postbacs also know how to relax, have fun, and socialize with their fellow students. They engage in student-led committees—such as Baking, Diversity, and Wellness Committees—and participate in intramural sports, volunteer as assistant coaches of College sports teams, and attend cultural events held in the Tri-Co community.
