Disability and Sexuality: The Complex Intersection
This teach-in will discuss nuanced topics around sexuality and Disability, more specifically, how a complex process like understanding and expressing one's sexuality becomes even more nuanced when intersected with a disabled identity. The talk will also delve into more specific paradoxes of reality and misconception, as well as share experiences from the Disabled community from both 91³Ô¹ÏÍø and beyond. The teach-in will be led by a 91³Ô¹ÏÍø student with a disability, with the intent to spread more awareness and start more conversations about the nuanced aspects of Disability. Please come if any of this is unfamiliar or deeply personal. There will be music and a space for open dialogue.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
